Rancho Santana Owners United

Welcome to the Rancho Santana Owners United (OU) website. OU is a body of home and lot owners representing ourselves within the Rancho Santana, Nicaragua community. It is a body in existence representing owners. OU exists to represent the home owner & lot owner community, “requesting a seat at the table” to represent owner interests, to the Rancho Santana Developers and the Rancho Santana Board of Directors.

History & Promise

Rancho Santana in Southwest Nicaragua was envisioned & created as a homeowner’s community. The “promise” and premise of Rancho Santana Founders and Leadership is foundational to OU.

Bill Bonner promoted the Rancho Santana community of autonomy, political freedoms, minimizing encroachment on personal individual liberties. The Oxford Club, where the Rancho Santana Hotel now sits, is “an organization dedicated to increasing your wealth, personal liberty, prestige and posterity for generations to come”. Bill’s “Grand Tour” promoting wealth with individual liberties was central to many who bought into Rancho Santana to build a refuge, a retirement and establish a legacy for their loved ones… a Home.

“Home is a safe haven and a comfort zone. A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. A place to build memories as well as a way to build future wealth. A place where we can truly just be ourselves.

From the “promise” and with decades of selling, promoting a homeowner’s community, many have invested life savings, made major life decisions to join this community, brining family and friends along.

Now, with hundreds of existing privately owned homes & lots, the Rancho Santana Developers continue acceleration of the 2,700 acre community, away from that community, to a “Resort Property”. Of paramount importance is the need for owners to form a group to represent and protect homeowner property rights.

The OU charter is to protect home ownership rights within Rancho Santana by advocating for owner’s theoretical and legal ownership (common in the United States, Canada, European Union and other free market socialites). These are individual property rights generally exercised, private property rights or the rights of private persons to accumulate, hold, delegate, rent, or sell their property.

In areas where property rights cease to exist, it is often impossible to regain them. Ownership or use of resources are allocated by force, through economic and punitive policies, implemented by corporate or administrative authority. That means real estate resources become centrally controlled and are allocated by political ends rather than economic ones. Such authorities determine who may interact with, can be excluded from, or may benefit from the use of the property.

OU responsibly uses influence and engagement to assure homeowners and lot owners:
